Everyone’s favorite electrical mouse is heading to for the 2014 World Cup!
Pikachu, along with his Poké-pals, have teamed up with Adidas for a special promotion in support of Team Japan, according to the The Pokémon Company’s and Adidas Japanese websites.
The sports apparel company is the designer for the Japan National Football team kit (uniform).
Polygon says that this partnership is part of Adidas’ “Engine Project,” encouraging players wearing the uniform to act as a single unit, or “engine.”
The details of this collaboration are still unknown, but in the meantime, here’s some images of Pikachu dawning the Japanese Team’s kit!
And while the World Cup’s mascot is a blue and yellow armadillo named Fuleco, it’s safe to say that we all know which critter is rocking the better looking football attire.
The 2014 FIFA World Cup will taking place in Brazil from June 12-July 13.
