They’re back and better than ever.
This past E3 conference was full of surprises, twists and turns. Everyone pretty much figured out that Sony’s PS4 has Microsoft’s Xbox One beat by a long shot.
However, there were two franchises that have been missing the gaming scene, one of which has not been heard of in almost 9 years, that made a massive debut: Mirror’s Edge and Star Wars: Battle Front. Both Games will be made by developers EA and DICE.
Mirror’s Edge 2– In 2008 Mirror’s Edge put a new spin on the first person shooter (FPS) genre. Players took control of Faith, a free-runner who is an underground courier in a city where all communication is monitored. And while players were able to pick up and use weapons, the game focused more on using Faith’s free-running skills to get out of sticky situations and to reach the next objective. Now…Faith has returned.
Star Wars: Battlefront– It’s been almost a decade since we last heard from the Stormtroopers of the 501st Legion in Star Wars: Battlefront 2. We last saw them on Hoth where they were invading a Rebel base. The new reveal trailer shows a war torn Hoth in a midst of a blizzard.
As of now there are no release dates for either games, just the anticipation of their return.
